Let customers speak for us
Why use blue light blocking sunglasses?
Not all blue light is harmful. But if you spend a lot of time outdoors, not only are you exposed to the sun's natural blue light but also harmful UV rays and the artificial blue light from your screen. Blue light sunglasses offer maximum protection; on your phone, on the beach or on a snowy mountainside.
Tactical clarity for screen & sun
Exposure to screen light and UV rays places constant demands on your vision. We engineered these sunglasses for modern hybrid life by combining ballistic-grade construction with specialized Darkmatter® filtering that neutralizes harmful rays.
This provides a high-performance barrier for outdoor environments and digital use alike. It is precision clarity for any light condition, built to keep your eyes locked on the objective.
FAQs
Do classic sunglasses protect against blue light?
Classic sunglasses aren't created with blue light filtration in mind. Their goal is to protect from UV rays and reduce glare; which might filter some blue light by extension but it isn't typically measured or considered in their design process.
Do polarized sunglasses protect against blue light?
Polarized sunglasses are used to reduce glare in high-intensity environments (on water, in the snow), and like classic sunglasses don't typically protect against blue light by design.
Should I choose classic or polarized blue light sunglasses?
Polarized sunglasses reduce glare in high-intensity environments, but if you spend a lot of time outdoors on screens, they may not be the best choice. Polarization blocks a large part of the light flow, causing distortion and making it hard to read digital screens.
If your environment requires constant switching between mobile interfaces and direct sun, our Classic Darkmatter® lenses provide the optimal balance of contrast and visibility.
