Finding your pupillary distance (more details):

Sometimes it is not listed or your ophthalmologist may not have taken the time to measure it correctly (it is often the optician who fine-tunes it). You can measure it yourself!
  1. Stand in front of a mirror about 20 cm away.

  2. Hold a ruler or tape measure horizontally against your eyebrows.

  3. Close your right eye and align the zero mark of the ruler with the center of your left pupil.

  4. Open your right eye. Read the length (in mm) that you can see at the center of your right pupil. This is your pupillary distance (PD).

  5. You can repeat the measurement several times (also measure from the right eye to the left eye). If you measure different lengths, use the average value.
